Description:

We close the season with a journey beyond our world. Holst’s The Planets is one of the most thrilling, powerful and recognizable works in orchestra music. Paired with Abiding Legacy by James Lee III, the evening also pays tribute to astronaut and Lake City, SC resident Ronald McNair, who lost his life in the 1986 Challenger disaster – 40 years ago this year.
