Muzika! Festival · Puccini’s Messa di Gloria

About This Show

Varna International is pleased to present one of Giacomo Puccini’s earliest works. Though a sacred mass in style, it evokes operatic drama with its emotional depth, lightness of spirit, and rousing energy. Exhibiting the young musician’s passion and tenacity, it was originally performed in the 1880s and all but forgotten, only to be brought to light again in the 1950s.

Join us for this highlight of the 2024 Muzika! festival featuring Maestro Gregory Buchalter of the Metropolitan Opera conducting our festival orchestra.
